From personal experience, I noticed considerable gains in chest thickness from doing Flat bench and incline bench.
Your 4 x 6 - 10 reps will do the job over time. I usually alternative between the a 8,6,4 rep range, and a 12,10,8 range over the course of a few weeks to make sure you hit both the fast twitch and slow twitch muscle fibers.
I would also suggest giving the flat flyes a try right after you do your flat bech lift, it's a really good way to stretch the pecs out and get plenty of blood in them.
When it comes to developing a chest, the main proponent is time, and lots of it.
